Japan Lake Kawaguchi
One more lake in Japan that you should have a look; Lake Kawaguchi is a lake near Mt Fuji, Japan. It
is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes in terms of tourists, and is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. It is located in Kawaguchiko Town, a hot spring resort named after the lake, and well connected with central Tokyo by trains and direct buses.
Kawaguchiko's town center and the hot spring ryokan, some of which have baths with views of Mount Fuji, are clustered around the southeastern shores of Lake Kawaguchi. You can use the baths of some ryokan during daytime and against an admission fee of a few hundred yen even if you are not staying overnight. Hmn..It was nice but I didn’t dare to try it so I was laughed by my buddies. The touristy hot spring resort also offers an array of museums, including several art galleries and museums on herbs and dolls. Among the local food specialties are Hoto Noodles, a rustic noodle soup dish garnished with vegetables. I used to eat a lot with my buddies coz the taste of the noodle is so delicious. Last but not least, Kawaguchiko is home to the amusement park Fuji Q High Land, featuring one of the world's tallest roller coasters and other thrilling attractions with Mount Fuji as backdrop.
Lake Kawaguchi and its shores have one more role to play, July and August are mountain climbing season and a lot enthusiasts visit this place for climbing on Fuji Mountain. Before and after the climb these people get refreshed by the hospitable surroundings of this beautiful lake and all the pleasure locations like art galleries, museums (Kawaguchi Museum), entertainment parks (Dodanpa thrill ride with the world’s highest roller coaster ride).
