Thailand Phi Phi Leh Maya Beach

I continue to talk about Phi Phi Island which is known as “Thailand’s Shangri-La”. The second largest island in there is Phi Phi Leh which Maya Beach belongs to. The second largest of the Phi Phi Islands is pretty, and pristine, but authorities in charge do not allow visitors to stay overnight, with the exception of limited camping with one company. Besides the beach, other attractions include the Phaya Naak Cave with its prehistoric paintings and edible-nest swiftlets. This is where the movie “The Beach” (starring the Hollywood superstar Leonardo Di Caprio). To make the movie "The Beach", around 60 palm trees was planted so Maya would look even more like a tropical paradise beach. After filming, all of the palm trees were removed and the beach returned to its original state.
This beach is really special. It is located in a stunning beautiful bay surrounded by steep limestone cliffs that rises vertically out of the crystal clear emerald green water. The 20m wide white sandy beach is set against a backdrop of sand dunes, bushes and towering cliffs. Since the bushes don't provide much protection from the tropical sun, many people prefer to sit in the shadow of the cliffs. From the beach a trail leads to Loh Samah Bay, a five minutes walk, from where you have to climb trough a hole in the rock to reach the other side. Facilities for park staff have been constructed nearby the entrance to Loh Samah Bay. There is a National Park entrance fee of 400/200 (adult/children) baht for foreigners, but not for Thai people who don't have to pay.
Phi Phi Island is high on the list of things to do to when in Phuket, most tourists want to see Maya Bay at least ones in their lifetime. Therefore it can at times be somewhat crowded when in middle of the day (10am-2pm) boatloads of day trippers from Phuket and Krabi arrive for snorkeling and relaxing on the famous beach.
Besides Maya Beach, you can also visit Viking Cave. This place wasn’t so attractive anymore after government doesn’t allow visitors to go inside the cave. They only can see the cave from boat. Viking Cave is a thriving bird's nest soup industry also.

Thailand Phi Phi Don Island

Ko Phi Phi Don is now squarely on the tourist map, and tourists from all over the world (especially Europe, Japan, and the wealthier Southeast Asian countries) flock to the island. You can also rent kayak for two hours with price 300 Bath to explore the other small island surrounded here. Or maybe for the beginner, you can do Cliff jumping is fairly new to Tonsai Bay. Thailand Phi Phi Islands

Thailand Ko Chang

Having a trip to Thailand is nice for me especially by road trip (bus-I mean).It's some 5 hours from Bangkok by bus and there's no airport on the island yet so it should remain more tranquil than Samui or Phuket. What travel place that I am going to discuss is Ko Chang. Curious, guys? Well, it is located in eastern Thailand and also is the second largest island of Thailand. This island has seen a lot of development in recent years but luckily it is still relatively deserted. It's one of the best islands in all of Thailand, which considering Thailand has hundreds, is saying a lot. Blue water and white sand beaches ring the island and as a bonus it has a milder monsoon season than other places.The island is also home to a wide range of wildlife, including a good selection of birds, snakes, deer and a number of elephants. The island and its vicinity are great places for snorkeling, diving and jungle hiking.Many of the island’s villagers still, until this day, adhere to the traditional Siamese way of life. Thailand Malapascua Island

Remote and unspoiled beaches combined with great diving made this island one of the hottest destinations over the last couple of years. Malapascua is not easy to reach, you have to travel about 4 hours with bus or taxi to the town of Maya , and then cross over to the island, which takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the boat and the weather conditions.
