Singapore Zouk Nightclub

Singapore's nightlife isn't quite a match for Patpong, but it's no slouch either! Some clubs have
24-hour licenses and few places close before 3 AM. Any artist touring Asia are pretty much guaranteed to stop in Singapore, with superclub Zouk in particular regularly clocking high on lists of the world's best nightclubs.Zouk nightclub is devided in to three different, charged, clubs; Velvet Underground, Phuture, Zouk and the Winebar. The three first ones has an admission of SGD$30 for men and SGD$25 for women, and that includes 2 drinks each. You get admission to all three clubs, but have to go in between them all the time.

Velvet Underground, where we went, plays Lounge/Chill/Vocal House and similar music. There is two different parts, the smaller playing softer and the bigger part playing a little bit more up-beat. It is quite packed and not a lot of room to move around. The drinks are ok, small (the free ones), but with a lot of alcohol! We did not move to the other clubs, but stayed until the end of the night, dancing all the time.

Phuture plays more house/trance/techno and similiar music, while Zouk plays RnB/Rap/Hip Hop kind of style. The Winebar is free admission and outside of the clubs. You can find this hot nightclub at 17 Jiak Kim Street.
