
Myanmar Yangoon
Yangoon is a city with majority of Buddhist inhabitants almost 80%more; therefore you can find so many pagodas around the city.The famous pagoda which already very old, existed about 2000 years ago with such a long history is called Shwedagon Pagoda. Yangoon still has a lot of colonial buildings dating from the English colonization, surrounding by many tall trees along the streets.
The local foods that you might want to try eating such as Tamin Cho. It’s fried rice or tries to taste their unique food, Mohinga. For breakfast, lunch or just a nice Chinese tea, you could go to the Black and White Bar. It is beside the Central Hotel. It is a little run down, but still a great place where you can meet nice people. They also serve good cold Mandalay or Myanmar Beer.
Then the journey went on to the popular but traditional shopping place, Bogyoke Market, where you must clever enough to bargain. In this traditional market, tourists can buy many beautiful handicrafts and jewels.
