Australia Newcastle
Newcastle is sited at the mouth of the Hunter River, north of Sydney in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. It becomes second largest city in the state of New South Wales and sixth largest of Australia. The city is the focal point for a diverse district that encompasses beaches and mountains, restaurants and wineries. Newcastle is Australia's oldest sea port.
Pedestrian tourists can walk around the harbor at Nobbys Beach that provides an excellent vantage point of views. Then continue go to Fort Scratchley, King Edward Park to participate in the Mattara Festival, and Mt Sugarloaf lookout. Or if you like to walk trails or take a bicycle trail/ a canoe trail, searching for picnic and barbeque facilities, you must visit Shortland Wetlands Centre. For art lovers can take a look around with free admission fee at the gallery houses with high quality collection of works by Australian artists which is Newcastle Region Art Gallery. All well worth a visit. When hungry, you can eat at Beaumont Street in Hamilton and Darby Street in Cooks Hill (which also famous for its boutiques).
